Incora Health has an ambitious new way to track women’s health. They approached us to help design a system that could communicate the nuanced changes that their product was tracking. Together, we designed accessible data visualization tools, a cohesive brand identity, and user-centered interfaces all within their native app.

THE PROCESS
Data as Craft
We always start our projects off with a clear and unique set of style tiles, a visual tool that we can use as a north star to guide the direction of the project. This process helps us establish a clear communication channel with our clients about the visual language, feeling, and general style of the project. This way we know what is expected, and can also imagine the potential of the project together.

UI Kit
From the style tiles, we now understand the information, feeling, and overall experience we want the user to gain. We move forward by using color theory, developing motion graphics, creating a shape language that are produced into responsive, repeatable, and accessible components and high fidelity screens
Visualizing Health
Making health data accessible was one of the biggest goals and challenges of this project. Together, we developed over a hundred graphs to find the most clear visualization of the complex and nuanced data that the Incora team was tracking, before settling on these set of graphs that felt just right.
